History of ICTADVISOR Limited an Internet Marketing Company based in Glenrothes Fife

ICTADVISOR became a limited Company in 2003. It however started out in life an as Information Communications Technology (ICT) Consultancy back in 1997 by its now Director, Brian Mathers, when back then, the business was providing hardware and software advice to small and large businesses.

After 2 years it was clear the ICT industry was huge and required many different dedicated skills. So, from 1998 Brian Mathers evolved from being simply an ICT business consultancy to establishing himself and the business as a trusted internet marketing company, specialising in delivering internet marketing strategies that included affordable website design, and helping businesses understand the importance of website information architecture and search marketing if they were to have a successful website.

Brian Mathers Supported the Work of Scottish Enterprise in Scotland

From 2000 until 2012 Brian Mathers was one of many Expert Help Consultants supporting the Scottish Enterprise Network. That opportunity came after a spell at Castlemilk Economic Development Agency during 1999 where he had helped develop the Electronic Village. His work there had not gone unnoticed by Ms Sarah Deas and grateful to her for the opportunity of becoming part of the team at Services to Software which later became Targeting Innovation where he was grateful of the opportunity to work under the guidance of George Boag. It was an exciting time as everyone became involved in the roll out of UK Online For Business a UK government initiative to assist business owners across the UK.

During his time at Targeting Innovation in 2003, Scottish Enterprise presented Brian Mathers with an Inspiring with every Individual Award for being one of the most customer focused, forward thinking and motivated advisor specialist consultants in ecommerce and ebusiness whilst supporting Scotland's Small Business Network.
