BUSINESS 50 CLUB WEB MARKETING PRESENTATION GLASGOW MARCH 25 2014
At the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow on Tuesday 25 March 2014 ICTADVISOR were once again presenting to business owners who are members of the Business 50 Club. Internet Marketing Practitioner Brian Mathers delivered an updated version of his presentation that he had delivered back in January of this year to Business 50 Club Members who had attended his Edinburgh presentation. Having the opportunity to deliver his Internet Marketing Seminars to small medium business owners at both ends of the M8 motorway showed that website business owners were all faced with the same issues. East or West, North or South, micor and small businesses in Scotland, were found to have something wrong with their website preventing it from doing better.
Everybody questioned in the audience wanted to be successful online. But, deep dive into websites selected from those in the audience and also listening to how that business owner expressed, things were not happening in their website, and thus not meeting with their expectations.
Much of the issues found, boiled down to. lack of marketing knowledge, lack of understanding how to choose the right website platform, doing business with developers or agencies that had limited skill sets, and so the business had quickly outgrown their solution. And add to that the limitations the website business owner was faced with, time, resource and most important of all lack of sufficient marketing budget, as they had spent all their money on a website, which for many was not working as it should.
